MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Brewers may not have gotten a ring this October, but one player on their roster will now have to adjust to throwing extra weight on his left hand.
Congratulations to All-Star reliever Josh Hader and his fiance Maria Macias on their engagement! In an Instagram post, Hader proposed to Macias in Phoenix.
What a year it has been for the 24-year-old left-hander. He led the MLB in strikeouts for relief pitchers, participated in his first-ever MLB All-Star game, helped lead his team to their first NLCS appearance since 2011 and is now engaged.
With Spring Training only three months away, Hader and the rest of the Brewers are hoping for a year that will end with more jewelry on all of their hands.
