Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich is raking up the awards. He was awarded 2018 Silver Slugger in the National League on Thursday.
The announcement was made on Twitter Thursday afternoon.
Yelich was named a National League most valuable player finalist and gold glove finalist. He also won the Hank Aaron Award.
Yelich is the first Brewer player to win the award since 2012. Next week, Yelich will likely be raking in the clubs first MVP award since Braun brought it home in 2012.
The Brewers outfielder had a batting average of .326, along with 36 home runs, 110 runs batted in, 187 total hits and 118 runs during the 2018 season.
The Silver Slugger Award is given to the best offensive player at each position on the field in both American and National Leagues.
