Brewers still discussing Corey Kluber trade with Cleveland, per report

MLB.com’s Jon Morosi is reporting that the Milwaukee Brewers are still engaged in trade talks with regards to Cleveland Indians ace Corey Kluber.

The Crew have been linked to Kluber in some way or a further for most of the offseason. Morosi reports that Milwaukee and the Los Angeles Dodgers are the types still in communication with Cleveland with regards to a prospective trade. He goes on to state that possibly workforce will have to make a “more compelling offer” to get hold of the two-time Cy Youthful winner or Kluber will remain with Cleveland for his ninth season.

According to the post, Cleveland is still searching to deal with its latest outfielder shortage. The workforce dropped two of its important contributors in the outfield to totally free agency, Michael Brantley who signed with the Houston Astros and Melky Cabrera who remains unsigned. The expectation has been that they will use their huge starting up pitcher depth to resolve that. Some rumors earlier this season have tied Product City prospect Corey Ray to the trade discussions.

Though Morosi signifies that Cleveland wishes to get the offer carried out before Spring Education or not at all, he does note that Kluber is not the only concentrate on on the Menomonee Valley Nine’s radar:
