MILWAUKEE — CC Sabathia set the Brewers on his back in 2008, carrying the team to its very first postseason berth due to the fact shedding the 1982 World Series. He still left, the team rebuilt…sort of. A star-studded roster of young guns got the team back to the postseason in 2011, generating a run to the NLCS. But once Prince Fielder, Zack Greinke and other people were being absent, so far too were being the Brewers’ postseason hopes.
The 2018 Brewers electrified Milwaukee and its supporters when they returned to the NLCS in 2018, but experienced a heartbreaking dismissal at the palms of the Dodgers. The variance? Most of THAT team’s stars are back, its young guns are extra skilled and it has a handful of clean, hungry faces in the setting up. Seemingly, the squad has not taken a stage back — at the very least in conditions of player expertise. So, offered the large hopes dashed in 2018, is 2019 World Series or bust for the Crew? Adam McCalvy discusses for Brewers.com.
