Miley looking sharp with three scoreless frames

With the Milwaukee Brewers bullpen having been used Friday night, starting pitcher Wade Miley is doing manager Craig Counsell a major favor in Game 2.

Miley has cruised through three scoreless innings to keep the bullpen quiet Saturday.

In the third inning, Miley made a nice play to his right to retire Austin Barnes for the first out on a 3-2 pitch. Hyun-Jin Ryu, Miley’s counterpart on the mound, grounded to third, and Miley handled leadoff hitter Chris Taylor on strikes.
