Miley’s day ends after 5 2/3; Burnes enters

Brewers lefty Wade Miley retired 16 straight hitters before allowing a two-out single to Chris Taylor in the sixth inning.

Manager Craig Counsell decided at that point to summon rookie reliever Corbin Burnes to face Justin Turner.

Miley allowed just two singles in 5 2/3 innings.

Counsell executed a double-switch, with Hernan Perez replacing Aguilar. Perez went to second base and Travis Shaw moved to first base. Burnes induced Turner to fly out to center to end the inning.
