Two of the best words in sports: ‘Game 7’

Nervous tension cuts through the air. Players try to stick to their normal routines.

The game finally starting serves as a relief for both players and fans.

Game 7. Every little thing will matter. The winner moves on; the loser goes home.

The Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers are about 15 minutes away from first pitch for Game 7 of the National League Division Series Saturday night at Miller Park.

Each team has won once on the other team’s field. The Dodgers need another road win. The Brewers simply need to hold serve. Of course, it’s never really that simple.

Jhoulys Chacin takes the ball for the Brewers. Rookie Walker Buehler takes to the hill for the Dodgers.

Josh Hader most certainly will throw at least two innings. Clayton Kershaw figures heavily in the Dodgers’ pitching plans.

Bring it on.
